Bride and Groom:

Tiffaney Sharee Moore & Damion Charles Randolph

Date Engaged:

September 1, 2007

Where and how did you meet?

We used to work together years ago. We were friends for years before we started dating.

How and where did he propose?

Dame’s proposal was a wonderful, unexpected surprise! We had dated for several years and then broken up for a while. We had starting dating again for about six months before we went on vacation to the Bahamas. On our last night there, Dame wanted to walk on the beach. I was somewhat annoyed and definitely ready to return home after a long week away. The island was beautiful, but very expensive and over commercialized. Had I not been so cranky, I might have been suspicious of his intentions. Dame hates the beach. In general, he avoids it all costs. He has been a “pool” person since a crab bite to the toe as a child. After strolling along the beach and reminiscing over the relaxing experiences that we had all week– aside from the tourist traps– Dame pretended to have been bit by a crab on his toe. He fell to his knees and asked me to marry him on a beautiful Bohemian beach under the stars!

Why did you pick the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia?

We wanted to offer our guests a beautiful destination site. The charm of historic Savannah, GA was hard to deny. My brother lives in Savannah and most of my family is traveling from Montgomery, AL and Columbia, SC, primarily. Although he is originally from the suburban Philadelphia area, his brother and father have since relocated to the Atlanta area in addition to many of my friends. We found Savannah to be a convenient destination site for all! The Mansion on Forsyth Park is an elegant venue that will offer an upscale experience for our guests.

Where and how did you meet?
We met through my best friend Joya Gibson Bilton and his buddy Chris Bilton at Joya’s bacchelorate party

How and where did he propose?
He proposed at home…. very intimate evening on Thanksgiving. I was waiting around the last few months for him to pop the question and I just figured it would probably happen around Christmas. After returning from his sisters house from a day of celebration he called me into the living room to point out a mess our doggie made on the floor and when he pointed to it in the corner I found a better surprise. Quite the jokster!

Meet Jessica & Garrett October 29, 2008

Bride and Groom

Jessica and Garrett

Date Engaged

August 9, 2008

Where and how did you meet?
(Sheepish Grin) We actually met in a country bar called Six Strings in Central Illinois — Jessica was not so interested in meeting anyone, but after introductions, for some crazy reason she decided to give Garrett her phone number anyway.

After waking up to a text message from him the next morning, Jessica asked Garrett to go out for coffee (not knowing he doesn’t drink coffee). This awkward and incredibly uncomfortable coffee date turned into a somewhat terrifying interview for Garrett.

Long story short — Garrett continued to pursue Jessica and God continued to soften her heart. :o )

How and where did he propose?
Jessica is a devoted Chicago Cubs baseball fan… Garrett roots for the St. Louis Cardinals. Garrett nabbed tickets to a Cubs/Cardinals game in Chicago on August 9, 2008. The Cubbies did not win. Jessica was oblivious that Garrett had a ring.

Unfortunately, Jessica had not been feeling well the days leading up to the trip. Garrett had actually tried to propose on 08/08/08, but Jessica was not up to going anywhere or doing anything. So, after the baseball game on Saturday, Garrett and Jessica continued to venture out all over Chicago — going to dinner, to a great little piano bar, and Navy Pier (just missing the fireworks).

The two headed back to the hotel, Garrett somewhat frustrated and Jessica somewhat relieved to get some rest (still not feeling well). Jessica was in the bathroom of their hotel room preparing for bed and decided to open the door so that Garrett could come in if he needed to. Water running and toothbrush in hand, Jessica opens the door and finds Garrett… on one knee… ring in hand.

With a look of complete exasperation/exhaustion on his face, Garrett says: ‘I was trying to make this perfect and unique…. but you just… kept… ruining it.’

So absolutely true. AND she said YES!

When is your wedding date?

December 13, 2008

Why did you pick Savannah and Whitefield Chapel

We promised Garrett’s parents that we wouldn’t elope, so our solution was to have a small destination wedding with our closest family and friends. Months earlier, we had discussed wanting to travel to Savannah — this seemed like the perfect time to escape the cold December weather of Central Illinois.

Where do you reside now?

Central Illinois

Describe Your Dream Wedding

Getting married at Whitefield Chapel in Savannah, GA — of course — with our closest family and friends attending. Some of our siblings will not be able to attend, and if they could… it would be perfect.

Meet Rebecca and Craig September 7, 2008

Bride and Groom:
Rebecca & Craig

Date Engaged:
August 16, 2008

Where and how did you meet?
We met online on the classified site, Craig’s List, in mid-July 2007.
New to the area, Rebecca had posted a personal ad looking for a
guy interested in talking and possibly more. About three weeks
of talking on the phone and exchanging emails, we met in-person for a date. We really hit it off and began officially dating on August 17, 2007.

How and where did he propose?
Craig and I were visiting Savannah, Georgia for our one year dating

anniversary, we had both agreed that one day, when we would get married, it would be in Savannah. Craig proposed while I was sitting on a couch in a parlor. Just off the lobby at the Doubletree Hotel in Historic Savannah. I was shocked, surprised and very touched. I immediately went into crying hysterics and after a few minutes, I said “Yes!”

When is your wedding date?
April 25, 2009

Why did you pick Historic Savannah Georgia?
Craig and I were both raised in the south and feel that we wanted
a wedding in a place rich with the Southern Hospitality and History
Savannah was a perfect choice!

Where do you reside now?
Suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia

Describe Your Dream Wedding.
We really want to stay true to the Southern Hospitality Theme with a touch of classic romance. Our reception will be outdoors in Historic Telfair Square under the big Southern Oak Trees, surrounded by family and friends dancing to southern and classic rock.

Interesting Facts & Tidbits About Your Wedding.
We both love Paula Deen, so obviously a rehearsal dinner at The Lady & Sons was must. Also, Craig loves doughnuts, so he has chosen a Boston Cream Doughnut for his groom’s cake.

Meet Jenny & Michael August 16, 2008

Bride and Groom:
Jenny & Michael

Date Engaged:
May 27, 2008

Where and how did you meet?
We met at Karns High School, where we are both English teachers. We fell for each other, however, in a dirty karaoke bar when we shared the most electric kiss of all time.

How and where did he propose?
Michael proposed while on vacation. We traveled to Utah for a friend’s wedding and later on during the venture, he proposed to me. He had attempted twice, once on a backcountry camping trip (not my shining moment) and once atop Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park (did he really expect me to go ALL THE WAY to the top?). Needless to say, the perfect moment arrived after a horseback ride in Bryce Canyon, led by the most annoying 19 year old who attempted to give us relationship and marital advice. Michael, although visibly annoyed, realized that not another day could pass and he proposed in our hotel that evening. It truly was the perfect moment.

When is your wedding date?
October 18, 2008

Why did you pick Tybee Island?
We chose Tybee Island because it is a special place for him in that it was where he spent his last vacation with his grandmother. We also ventured there last summer, and it was on Tybee Island that I knew, that he knew, we were in love.

Where do you reside now?
Currently, we live in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Describe Your Dream Wedding.
Our dream wedding is, obviously, beachside with all of our friends surrounding us, our family beside us, and barefoot. We are pretty laid back people, and we want our wedding to be intimate, quaint, fun, and memorable.

Interesting Facts & Tidbits About Your Wedding.
We love the beach, so we have secured a steel drummer to play at our reception. We think that will set the tone for a casual, romantic evening.

James had the opportunity to photograph a very interesting, fun and loving couple on Sunday.

Here are a couple of our favorite shots from the engagement session.

Casey & Michael – How They Met:

Shortly before Michael went to boot camp we met at The Cooney’s House through our best man Brendan. Michael wrote letters every week from boot camp and then again once he was stationed in Germany. A few countries and 2 deployments later and we’ve finally settled down to tie the knot.

How They Got Engaged:

After six years of talking about our future Michael officially popped the question upon his arrival home from Iraq, with a ring and a necklace which has an Irish knot symbolizing Love, Loyalty and Friendship …matching the words engraved in our wedding bands!

Interesting Fact:

In honor of Michael’s grandparents, Michael and Casey will be taking the last name of his grandparents at their wedding. That is indeed an honor and a true testament to Michael’s grandparents!

We wish Casey & Michael all the love and happiness that their hearts can hold!
